For
the past two decades, the Gable family has been raising registered Simmental cattle. Twin
Oaks Simmental began with the goal of providing commercial cattlemen with genetics to
improve performance. By breeding to the best Simmental genetics in the nation, their herd
has evolved into a functional group of cattle that perform. Their Simmental herd now
provides bulls and heifers to commercial cattlemen in Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma,
Kentucky, Ohio and Illinois. Since 1995, the Twin Oaks Simmental farm has been in Oak
Ridge, Mo. Previously, the operation was located in Bollinger County.
